Results vary between individuals depending on skin colour, hair colour, area, hormones and hair thickness. From studies, most people have a great reduction after 6 treatments. Depending on area, top up treatments are recomended and can vary between 3 months and a year.

Most people tolerate the sensation as the laser beam passes over the skin. The sensation has been reported as equivalent to an elastic band flicking the skin with some heat.

In order for the laser to succesfully absorb down the hair follicle, the hair on the treatment area must be shaved prior to the treatment or have less than 1.5mm of regrowth. Shaving should be done 24-48 hours prior to treatment for the best results.
Electrolysis

Our technicians are highly trained in Thermolysis, Blend, and Galvanic Electrolysis techniques. Electrolysis hair removal stands out as the sole method sanctioned by the FDA for achieving permanent hair removal. This method involves the precise application of heat and a concentrated electrical current to each hair follicle, leading to permanent hair removal.
While it usually requires multiple sessions for optimal results, it's important to note that guaranteed permanent hair removal is not assured for everyone. Unlike laser treatments that target hair pigment, electrolysis directly affects the follicle itself. Therefore, individuals who are not ideal candidates for laser hair reduction – such as those with Grey, White, Blond, and Red hair – can achieve comparable results. Additionally, electrolysis is effective for treating any part of the body, including sensitive areas like eyebrows.

An electric current is applied with a very fine needle-shaped electrode, or metal probe into each hair follicle to destroy the root. There are three types of electrolysis: galvanic, thermolysis and blend. Hair grows in different stages: growing, resting and shedding. Because all of the hair isn't on the same stage at any given time, multiple sessions are needed to get the hair in the growth phase for electrolysis hair removal to be most effective- just like laser hair removal.

Treatments are determined by minutes per session, from 5 minutes - 2 hours depending on the area and amount of hair. Frequent treatments weekly to fortnightly are recomended at the beginning.

Waxing is a continuous treatment, recommended every 4 weeks depending on area and rate of hair growth.

Waxing can be uncomfortable to begin with. Clients refer to waxing as a mild sting that resolves immediately once the hair is removed.

We recommend not to use pools & spa's in common areas for 24 hours afterwards. Avoid hot showers & baths until skin redness resides completely
Our Clinic Policies
Appointment Booking Policy: All Bookings are required to pay a 20% Deposit either on-line or when calling to book. This Fee is completely used on your services on the day and remainder paid at checkout. This Fee enables us to secure your time slot and re-assure you that nobody else can be booked in your allocated spot. If this is inconvenient for you, you can call into the Clinic and wait until a Therapist is Free to see you, please note that your waiting time can not be guaranteed as Therapists already have confirmed bookings. Cancellation Policy: A Fee of $50 or full amount of treatment will be charged to customers that cancel or move within a 24 hour period or do not show up to appointment. Pre-Paid treatments will become void if cancelled or moved within a 24 hour period or do not show up to appointment. We send out reminder automated text SMS messages and Emails 48 hours and again 24 hours prior to your appointment, please reply Yes or Y that you will be attending, if we dont receive a reply after the second reminder then we assume you wont be attending and your appointment will be cancelled. You will need to contact us to reschedule your appointment. Thank You..
Pre-Paid Policy: Pre-Paid treatments must be used by the specified time, 10 or more within 18 months, 5 treatments within 12 months, 2-4 treatments within 6 months of purchase date as these packages EXPIRE. Prepaids cannot be transfered to other persons, exchanged for other treatments or refunded.
